Wife is after a folder for commuting purposes.

Budget is not that high.

I have heard that many of the more expensive bikes are sold cheaper under different names. Any ideas where they can be found?

For £99.99, Argos

no idea how good or bad it will be.
Some times these 100pound bikes can feel like they weigh 100pounds.

Decathlon for cheap.

For something that is actually good at folding, being stored on trains, being carried up stairs, and doing all that without jabbing your with sharp bits or getting chain oil on your clothes, Brompton all the way. Not cheap, but good value in their own way.
