I've seen them mentioned on here a bit and they seem to be very good price wise.

What's the catch then,is there import duty etc to pay ?

The price is in euros... what would be the best way to pay them ?

How long does delivery usually take ?

Thanks.

No duty as its EU.

Payment depends on the rate your bank usually gives you on your card and the rate they offer so hard to tell but often no big difference.

They deliver quick, but then I am in France.

No import duty as they're in France which is part of the EU.
Just pay by card as you would a UK shop.
The forks I bought from them arrived in a few days.

Do it, get your shock from there!
Pay in euros, my card doesn't charge for use in Europe.
Delivery was free as I could collect from a local UPS collection point and took 4-5 days
and was tracked. No problem at all. Oh and its Europe so no extra charges on duty!

They offer PayPal as a payment method. Would this be any good for the extra cover it offers over debit card payments

My last order was placed on Sunday last week and arrived on Wednesday. I paid via PayPal. Postage was free on a collect basis so they went to my local corner shop and I was able to collect after work.

Arrived a day sooner than an order from Bikediscount.de despite being ordered a day later, faster than CRC for me at the moment.

Watch PayPal they apply their own exchange rate which is often expensive. You can manually select that they use your linked bank account exchange rate which is usually better. Was about £20 difference when I bought my Pikes. Lots of info on Money Saving Expert.

They're brilliant. I've had a frame and forks from them. Both delivered in 3 days snd roughly 50% off rrp. Forks were iem so came in plain brown box but had paperwork and spares bag inside.

Alternative FairFX card which is a pre-load job. Their rate is currently €1.35 to £1.

I bought a set of rockshox revs off there a week or so ago. I was a bit dubious about them as they were so cheap but asked on here first and lots of people said they were good. Ordered them, paid on credit card with 24 hour shipping, they turned up on time no problem. Couldn't fault them at all.

Bought Pikes last year at £320 delivered in 4 days and got a fox rampage FF helmet for £60,20 quid cheaper than anywhere in the UK

I bought some Revs off them two weeks ago. £223 with the exchange rate at the time. No issues despite my nerves. Fitted them yesterday, lovely.

The only downside I can see is email spam in French.

I've had forks, wheels and all sorts of other bits from them.

I went through them for a warranty issue on a (Magura) fork which was sorted out quickly, and I did get a BMX-specific component instead of MTB due to an incorrect description but correct image on the website, but the returns procedure was quick and easy.

Well, to counter the love in, I ordered some tyres and the free delivery via UPS point to point seemed a sensible choice ,the local pick up shop being just around the corner. UPS tracking is now saying incomplete address so delayed, with no way of updating the address and actually my home address is showing up fine on the Alltricks order...dunno what to do now , only phone number is UPS France, and sadly my linguistic ability does not stretch beyond 'use pression et use demi panache pour le ponce'...

Oh I may point out that the fault here is UPS not Alltricks!

I've ordered 2 reverbs and a set of Pikes all of which have been fine and delivered quickly.

The Pikes were even advertised as the simple RC version but they sent the RCT3's instead. 😀

Love alltricks, bike discount.de, hibike and rose.

I always pay by PayPal where I can, I find it works out cheaper than mucking about with money moves in euros for me - plus limits my exposure in terms of payment details given online.

Expect quicker delivery than CRC...

MussEd - if you can't get anywhere with UK UPS offices I can help you write a note to Alltricks support in French if you like.

Thanks Timb - it does say something about "end of business day 4/3/2105" so keep refreshing the screen to see if anything changes...if not I'll give you a shout!

Sorted - they are trying to deliver this to my home address but had no note of my door number - despite it being on the Alltricks order - so redelivery tomorrow. Free postage from France though - I'm not complaining!

And mercy again Timb for the kind offer!

Hi Mussed if you go to the UK UPS site and put your tracking number from the French site in, its all in English. You can re-arrange delivery etc from that site

Here

Edit just saw your next post....
