Hopefully, I'm going to take my eldest lad up to Kielder on saturday to ride the blue-grade Osprey Trail on the tagalong.
Apparently its 3/4 suitable for trailer-bikes, but I'm tempted to give the whole thing a go (and walk if we have to).
So what's the technique for getting round corners like this?:

Think HGV!
slow and wide i would think.
Fit trailer with hydralic handbrake.
Remember to giggle lots too.
Scandanavian flick perhaps?
I have gone on all grades of trail with a tag-a-log. You just ride as normal and take normal lines. Only thing I take special care over is speed. You have to take things a lot slower especially over the bumps and over drop-offs, otherwise the child on the tag-a-log will get thrown off.
Remember the tag-a-log has no suspension and smaller wheels, so will feel every bump and jump a lot more.
This is where trail-gators come into their own. My lad (4) would ride that him self and then i'd just hook him up when it starts going uphill too much.

Very good advice! The tag along will tend towards a tighter turning circle than your bike alone. Basically avoid clipping apexes or the tag along will cut over them. Ride past the apex and then cut in.
Definitely do a barrel roll.
With the co-pilot going;
"Faster Daddy! Faster"
in my experience.
cheers all.

Only works if he can ride it on his own. As good as he is on the Scoot, he's not combined balancing AND pedaling yet. I might sneak the Islabike in the car in case he feels inspired to try around the car-park...
With the co-pilot going;"Faster Daddy! Faster
I expect the same...
so will feel every bump and jump a lot more.
We have a rule that if I shout "bump" he stands up on the pedals and holds on tight ๐
