Yesterday I set-up a Tacx Fortius VR turbo trainer for the first time in about 4 years.
Last time I used it on a desktop PC (which I no longer have) it worked fine.
Installed the disc etc but when the USB cable from the handlebar control unit was plugged into the laptop it did not recognise the unit.
When looking in devices & printers all I get is unknown device with no drivers.
Its the first time the turbo trainer has been used on this laptop.
I've looked on Tacx website but found nothing so where can I find the drivers needed for this model?
I ended up having to create a disc of them from the Tacx (IIRC) forum, then installing them. Still didn't work, although I suspect that's just the turbo objecting to not being used for several years.

I'll try njee20's suggestion although I'm not a strong computer user.
I only want to prove it works 100% as I want to sell it.
Just to report back:
My laptop being 64 bit was the problem. Installed on old 32 bit laptop & it went straight in - was cycling 15 minutes after firing it up.
