Bracknell or Bagshot?
Neither - you want to go to Martin's Heron.
Then it's about a 2 km ride on mostly reasonable roads except for one massive roundabout.

Got it, cheers crazy legs.
Bagshot is perfectly fine if you aren't meeting anyone at the Lookout car park
There are cycle paths from MH to The Lookout as well which lets you avoid the massive roundabout. Check the local OS map.
There is a map on the wall at Martins Heron station of the cycle routes. The route is basically a straight line to the lookout, not very far and includes a bridge to avoid busy roads and roundabouts. Nothing wrong starting at Bagshot but as a first timer I would start from the lookout as provides an easier way to find the way home.
When you thinking about riding there.? post up on this thread and maybe someone will offer to guide you around ๐
lets you avoid the massive roundabout
+1 - not a good place to cross - roundabout Russian roulette.
Cheers all.
@ alzore, not sure when I'm going, was thing of doing a day next week, I usually drive but my wife will need the car. Will post nearer the time.
Bagshot station to Swinley is about a 5-10 minute ride, a few hundred yards along the A30 and then head right up towards the church - Vicarage Road leads into Swinley from there. You'll be right at the south side, furthest away from the Lookout but you will be nearer all of the 'downhill' stuff if that's what you're after.
I usually get off at Bracknell.. 10 min ride to the look out
