Peter
I do indeed.
Can I email it to you?
Thanks for the support,
Paul
Email in profile mate.
I'd love to come but I'm working 🙁
That sounds a lot of fun!! Maybe we can all go to Halfords afterwards and ask PP loads of inane bike questions 😈
There has been talk of the provision of cake.
And tea.

I don't start until 13th December.
Might pop along for a gander.
Well done that man!
I shall check with the SO that I'm not otherwise engaged on the 8th, and then I may well email you about a table.
May be popping along to buy and sell.
subject to checking availability, count me in.
I'll be there, selling.
Oh what the hell, probably buying too :-\
Here busy that day, shed could do with clearing out as well.
That is impressive concept to execution longtallpaul. Didnt fancy the tricounties idea then. I will be there, window shopping only...
Thanks all - if you want a table, email me and I will put you on the list.
If it goes well will this be a biannual thing? 🙂
Akira- Hopefully. 😀
Lets see how we do this time, and then see where we go from there...
Will pop along too. Good work.
A little bump for the daytime crowd...
And one for the evening crowd 😉
And the friday morning "pretending to read e-mails" crowd
I'll take a table 8)
Cheers Tiger- drop me an email.
I'm going to rummage in the garage in the weekend and come up with a list of what I'll be bringing.
It's quite a lot!
:o)
How big are the tables (serious question).
There has been talk of the provision of cake. And tea.
I upgraded that to a definate when I told the roadies as its Sunday morning so no chance otherwise.
Lots here too, but not got a scooby how to price things 😕
Based on your ability to harm yourself with a bike you should probably pay people to take it away and take up tiddlywinks
(Aimed at TINAS - didn't quite reply quick enough)
I'm off to scope out the hall tomorrow, so will get table dimensions for you.
I will also be scoping out the tea and coffee making facilities...
🙂

After months of arguing with the missus about buying a boat, snapping my arm riding a bike seems to have convinced her very quickly that a boat might be a safer hobby!
Lots here too, but not got a scooby how to price things
ebay-20% (as its fees are 10% and postage on top of that), I'm going with £1/£5/£10/£20 boxes and rounding the price in my head upto those, then let people haggle down again to the number in my head. My sheds so full I'd rather sell a £10 part for a fiver though than have to box it up again, list it individualy on the classifides for a tenner, post it, and still only end up with a fiver.
Will bring a couple of complete bikes too, but they'll be priced more realisticaly.
oh I like the idea of the boxes, thanks.
Yeah there is lots that I just want to find a home for, to be used (and abused).
oooh, could be interested in coming along to this.
if anyone has a Sunn BMIX (or similar) they want to sell, bring it along.
or a pair of light fixed road wheels.

Well, we still have tables available, so please drop me a line if you are interested...
Cheers!
Paul
I know some people who have 'a bit' but not a whole tables worth too. Might be worth offering something like a drop in table perhaps?

Today's the day!
Come on down...
Profits now spent in a mix of the greengrocer, sweetshop, and pub 🙂
Had a good day,
Sold: Rotors, Wheels, Forks, QR Skewers, Bleed kits
Bought :D Wingnut, XTR Shifters, Hope Brakes, SLX Rear Mech
Lot's of bargains to be had, had to keep stopping myself and remember I was there to reduce the items I had
Enjoyed it very much. Didn't sell much, but had I wanted, I could have specced a frameless Cx bike and we could have easily built a bike or two to ride home on. That Ti singlespeed road bike was lovely.
Thanks Paul.
Well worth the visit for me - will keep an eye out for the next one.
Cheers for all who turned up. Shame there weren't more punters!
Still, I had a great time, and it was great to meet all of you.
Will post up a few pictures tomorrow.
Plans are afoot for the next one...
Many thanks,
Paul
I think it'll grow as word spreads - good effort guys!
Had a good day too. Sold enough to make it worth my while but still plenty left for the next one.
Friendly crowd too.
