[Closed] Swinley air ambulance today - what's that about?

Didn't look major, guy concerned was wandering around. Didn't look like it warranted an air ambulance to be honest but hope rider makes a swift recovery. Anyone from STW!?

He had a suspected popped lung and a few other scrapes. Took 30+mins for 999 to figure out exactly where we were, despite having GPS. Annoyingly we were standing right next to a post on the red route. Now if only that had some sort of reference the emergency services understood...

Think the air ambulance was sent because he was getting progressively worse and had taken ages already. Ambulance and wardens arrived minutes later.

They reckoned he'd be ok - was on his feet etc.

Scary stuff anyway.
