So I purchased a new bike late last year with intentions of selling the old one on. Now almost 6 months on and the old one ( Devinci Dexter ) is still hanging in the garage. The Dexter has some good kit on it so I'm now thinking of selling the frame and building up a hardtail. Looking to build something relatively lightish but not silly light. I've been scanning the usual sites to try and get some ideas. Finding most of the stuff is 27.5 and I have 26 wheels and would like to keep them to stay on budget. Anyone had one of those cheap carbon frames off ebay? Basically looking for suggestions or even better a swap or sale with a forum member?

Also can you run a 27.5 frame with 26" wheels?
well the forks are wheel size specific so yes to the front. and maybe at the rear, wheels don't have to cost the earth.
Well hubs are hubs, so frame geometry aside, 26" wheels are fine, they'll just have a lot more clearance?
And a lower B/B? What about frame suggestions?
