so ive got a 26" crest and im thinking of swapping it to a mk3 rim. (wider is better etc)
will i need new spokes? If so how long would they need to be? You can tell ive not done this before.

I think they will be ok
but look at the ERD numbers - they must be somewhere on the interweb
if they are similar you will be fine

So I'm going to swap from Arch EX to Flowm Mk3 (29er)..the ERD is the same, so can jsut swap spokes. However, i'd still check your rim-rim ERDs...

Check ERD, if its the same you are good to go, I would fit new nipples.
De tension, tape the new rim onto the old one and swap the spokes over 1 at a time, tension/true/dish
