I have a pal whose front 20mm adaptors drop off easily when the wheel is out. Sooner or later he'll lose one. Is this a common problem, or just him (which I could totally believe BTW...)?

Can't he just put some grease on the back of them to make them a bit sticky.

Mine are fine too, though I tend to be fairly careful with them

They have an o-ring in a groove for retention - grease might render that less effective.
