I was 10 years old then, why was I not notified of the Diamond Back Sonic!?
Hang on then, I'll scan some more. 😛
can we keep this thread going (if anyone else also has any classic bike magazines) i really miss my old mtb mags from late 80's/early 90's.
BIke mag or knitting mag, look at that chunky knitwear 🙂
A bike magazine for under £2? Unbelievable.

Get over to Retrobike!
And then, if you really miss the mags, I know of a bike shop in that London's Famous London that has, sitting upstairs, a pretty much full collection of MBUK. As in FULL collection from right back to the beginning. There's also a lot of MTBPro and more. 🙂
cheers CaptainFlashheart.i must confess to visiting rertrobike (as i'm still stuck in the early 90's/klein fetish 😉 if i ever visit london again (not being rude, just that i do not travel very often) will check the shop out. 🙂
Nice jumper on the front page!
I didn't get the whole colour thing, I was a student back in 1993 and was forever garbed in drab, earthy shades. Dayglo was so 1989...
That dude is sick as f..k! The only thing that lets him down is two finger braking 🙂

You might all laugh at his val doonican jumper, but at least he's warm.

Those blue hubs are ace! Some things never date.
Aside from the non-disc mounting that is.

This is officially the best thread ever!
Nice to see a post about the 'good old days' of mtb that has made me smile, as opposed to some of the other rubbish that's been posted on this forum over the past week!
