I'm thinking of flogging my roadbike and going for something which will eat up the miles both on and off road, but which can be singlespeeded with ease. Does such a thing exist? I also much prefer discs in the winter, so that would be nice too.
Have been looking at the Genesis Croix de fer and Salsa Vaya, or beefier, the Fargo, for an indication of the kind of thing i fancy. Any suggestions?
Singular. My swift is brill.
Disc mounts (but no way to run V brakes). EBB.
second vote for the swift. the eccentric bottom bracket makes singlespeeding or hub gearing a piece of piss.
rides great, very adaptable and looks the nuts.
Cotic Road Rat
I met a guy on a singular swift yesterday, set up with drop bars, looked the mutt's n's. I'd not considered hub gearing actually, that is another possiblity! does the singular have dropouts>
I have a cotic soul: could always keep it in the family...
I suppose i'm not sure if i want a fast, roadable 29er or a cross bike really...?
