"I'd say 3.5-4hrs v.max"

How big is the group though? In a group of 4 (so less of a group faffage factor, but probably stopped a little more and a little more often), admitedly not that fit riders, but okay, have taken 6 hours before
It was a nice day though, maybe we weren't cold enough to want to get round fast enough

we're at 27 so far James.

we don't need name badges. It's just for me really 'cos I'm rubbish with names.

And being called "Pook" for a four hour ride is a bit of a pain!

Hora - You really fdo have me figured out. I did forget a certain something once... Result was me running rounds the local pubs trying to find it in a hurry. Kind killed the mood.

I'm hoping i can still come, but not 100 percent... Gotta watch my spending at the moment...

I hope I can still come. Day is free, no problem, but I've hurt my thigh muscles installing new glazing units in my Velux windows at the weekend. I have been walking round like an arthiritic John Wayne since. 🙁

And my new stickers haven't arrived yet either. 🙁

Assuming the plan is still to do the route from Edale including the Royche track (fraid I haven't been keeping up with the thread - that's Sambob's job!), here is condition report on the Royche track. I rode up from New Smithy via Beet Farm this afternoon, along the track to Rushup Edge and then back via Chapel. The track is mostly rideable, unlike three weeks ago when it was mostly unrideable. There's still a lot of snow about, but you can bypass quite a bit of it. So unless there's a big dump of snow, it looks good for Saturday.

Crikey, if all them turn up it'll be like critical mass. 😀

I think the barber booth layby may not be big enough! Edale car park would be better, but you do have to pay. Opinions?

Legs are much, pain seems to have gone. Gonna buy some new bib tights for the weekend.

Edale carparks fine. Do you know the turning off the road linking the two upto the first climb to Mam Tor?

Layby and carpark parkers could liase/meet there.
