Bowderdale/Calf from Sedburgh/Ravenstonedale?
Cross Fell = fair bit of hike a bike?
Eskdalemuir/Same y Ling from Moffat?
Lowther Hills from Drumlanrig?
Cam High/Ribblehead from Dent or Hawes?
Pester junkyard to get his act together the skipton lot wanted to hve a do round rivvy.
Having said that treksters first two sound good
Sounds good Tony..
damn doing bronte big k ๐
How "Northern" is "Northern"?
Tony what about a calderdale classic. I seem to remember you mentioning one a whle back.
Can the slow lass come again? I'll supply cake!! Calderdale sounds ok, me and Cath did the Bronte Big K ( and the Big One!) last year, so won't be partaking again, life's too short.
PS My bikes now fixed so I won't be looking for maintenance chaps!!
calderdale
saddleworth
up rakewood onto the moors?
2nd Calderdale/Hebdon.
but TBH any will do for me
Have you ordered the weather?
Hmmm...
...same day as the Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue MTL challenge.

hebden would be good, rivi would be good, but i was hoping G or Mart would step forward to offer us a guided tour round the industrial fells again............taking in the 2 obvious mtbing mecca's.

where's that then?
maybe able to sort something but rivvy was mentioned by the skipton lot as theyve never ridden there would fancy another calderdale ton g
I'm up for spin out around Calderdale ๐
Eskdalemuir/Same y Ling from Moffat
Now that sounds good and gets my vote.
I might be up to this one finally - or at least I could do part of it and then duck out depending on length.
Another vote for Hebden Bridge from me.
5th Calderdale.
spoilt for choice or what ! there's cetainly plenty of scope for me and graham to put a ride together , possibly including cragg quarry which a lot of people won't habve seen in its new form , mart
ps slow ladeeez always welcome teagirl

Eskdalemuir/Same y Ling from MoffatNow that sounds good and gets my vote.
Some hiking through long grass required, may not suit some ๐
Coffe & cakes with the Monks will be.
Quite a bit of forest road involved so not a super techy ride, but it is a long day out ๐ depending on which way we go.
Sounds good Tony, happy to do any of the suggested routes!
Eskdalemuir sounds like a good one - not done much in the the Borders!
OR............. you could always revisit Kirkby Stephen ๐
we were gonna revisit kirkdy stephen on the 10th of october.....1st free date for Deejay.
so either hebbers, industrial fells or eskdalemuir. for 19th of sept.
cast your votes........ 8)
Cool - will add to diary (wasn't that the same date-ish as last year?!?!) ๐
I'm easy, any of the 3 fine by me as I've not done any of them before!
Calderdale. Big day - Hebden > Jack Bridge > cheeky multiple choice to Hardcastle Craggs > up to House Of Sh*t and over the tops to Widdop > Gorple Road > sheep track > Long Causeway > Whirlaw Stones > golf course and excellent descent to Eastwood. Then either climb back up the same side of the valley and head towards Heptonstall and finish on cheeky that side OR up to Mankinholes and along London Road and finish on cheeky into Hebden.
What I'm trying to say is I'm in for a Calderdale ride.
Or... do something down my end of the valley, south Halifax stylee. The hidden mountain bike mecca ๐

dave.........perfecto........just what i was fishing for, a local guide.
any ideas for a suitable parking spot mate??
hebden bridge it is then everyone.
parking deatail and ride time to be posted in a bit. 8)
Can do Tony. Parking... hmm, anywhere central. Big car park right in the centre probably best as then you can shoot straight up San Francisco as a 'warm up' and on up to Heptonstall before dropping down to Hardcastle Craggs. Loads of options for parking in and around Hebden though and I think its only 20p on a Sunday anyway.
Quite happy to act as a guide.
can we stop at that nice cafe in hebden bridge where me an lowey had to wait
mart, obviously not to perv over the delicious young waitresses...... ๐
perish the thought ton
Have a good ride guys - got to work on the 19th ๐ฅ but will be OK for 'Kirkby Stephen - The Return' on the 10th October - a whole month earlier than our attempt last year!
'Kirkby Stephen - The Return' on the 10th October
I still have nightmares after last year's epic.
Someone bring a couple of lead's for lowey and mart, we don't want them getting lost again do we ๐
ok so rivvy it is then ๐
Johnny how you doin?
still floating?
of course being in Chorley the weather will not be quite so sunny.
So thats everybody at Hebdon except 'Johnny no mates' who will be attempting a mammoth tour of Rivvy solo.
Have you asked Lowey if you can ride on his land? you Know he gets all arsey about it. ๐
sod him I am even going to ride his personal private singletrack right up to his house and have a brew in his garden and warm my hands on his fire ๐
Sorted boat still floating despite rumours to the contrary.
should be free that weekend to ride wherever we go
if you need a lift, give us a shout
there is a canal in Hebdon setting of tomorrow should just make it in time
will do ta
Thats my singletrack anyway, it's nearer to my house!
Well that's a weekend away! I'm game!!
Hoping to be there.
