It's about time we did another. 10:30 from The Bell in Shurdington (GL51 4XQ).

As always, social pace, hilarious banter, possible pub stop, definite post-ride pint. Route TBC, either Cranham or head out towards the Green Dragon.

Bit cheeky I know but could you sound them out about a group of you coming down to the Big Bike Bash in August? It isn't that far and it would be nice to see you guys again and meet the ones I haven't met yet.

We can possibly do a group discount and the event certainly fits with your ride ethos.

email me for group discount details.

Cheers

Nick

Yep, still on, although it's not really that near to Brum...

Anyway, more the merrier.

Actually, I should ask folks to use the playing fields car park, not the pub car park (they're next to each other)

I know, it's bad enough with those buck-toothed, socially-retarded delinquent gypsies from Evesham coming down here.

Slow, dull, lacking in any redeeming features. You'll hate it.

I'm keen to join you guys. Live in Shurdington (by Cheesrollers), but don't know the area very well, so would be keen to find some new routes and ridding buddies.

IHN - That's great. I am just getting back to fitness following a lengthy period (20months) off the bike due to knee ops. So I may not last the whole ride but I'll certainly try given the possibility of a post ride beer.

See you Sunday.

What?

Sheldon actual exists?

I thought he was made up by niche bike manufacturers so their bikes looked like someone actualy rode them.

I thought he only existed in the minds of "nichewhores" and wasn't a real person at all.

Afterall he aint going to hurt himself pushing his bike down a nice groomed trail. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hear he toppled over after his filet de mignon as the chef carelessly used brandy butter by mistake. A 7.5 ton ambulance with a winch was called. Hope he's ok.

Mark - was going to mail you but there's no address in your profile.

Anyway - http://www.ashtonmtb.co.uk/index.htm

There's a contacts page and a diary, drop Brian a mail if you're going to go along to a ride (and/or drop me one and I'll let you know if I'm going)

Guys, thanks for Sunday was good to meet you all.

Simon, thanks for the info. I won't be able to make tomorrow's ride but should be ok for the following Tuesday. I'll update my profile with an email address too!

I ended up having more drinks than I should have after you guys left!

Barney "the gravel eating dog" was unsurprisingly sick during night - not a nice way to start the week, and I'd like to say he's learned his lesson, but he won't have.
