Is there any way a 29er Inbred will take a tapered fork, or is it 1 1/8 only?

Can't you get funky extended lower cups that adapt old style headtubes to accept tapered forks? Sure people have mentioned them before...

Wondered about that, but may be getting confused with 44mm (where you can get an inset cup for 1 1/8 steerers, and an external cup for 1.5")

44mm (Internal / zero stack) can be adapted, standard 34mm cannot. Inbred is standard 34mm.
