Alloy post in metal frame. Nothing will shift it. Any tips?

Some methods by nature are destructive.
Also, importantly, is the frame steel or alloy?? That changed the methods available!

Best by far for me over the years (not usually on my bikes but various other folks) A good soaking in diesel.
It's only ever not worked once & that was a hacksaw blade job (Xlite post in a steel frame)
Leave the saddle on of course!

I'm in a similar situation with an aluminium seat post and steel frame. Tried rotating with no joy and heat differential. Think I may **** it with a mallet and if that doesn't work I'll try ammonia and if that doesn't work I'll try caustic soda.
Seat post man looks good but ultimately it will be cheaper to destroy the current seat post and buy a new one, not taking time into account.
Destroying it will be easy extracting it once destroyed is unlikey to be easier - its bonded inside the frame how you panning on destroying it in there without frame damage - genuine Q as well all i can think of is chisel or reciprocating saw and I cannot see either ending well [ ie no frame damage]ultimately it will be cheaper to destroy the current seat post and buy a new one
I would also advise the seatpostman - 700 + with no failures last time I spoke to him - my kid is mates with his lad but I have no insight on to what he does and never used him.
