Just doing a lower leg service on my 2017 float 36's. They've changed the design of the seal from my old forks by the looks of it and they definitely feel harder. Long and short of it is i cant get the new ones in (always was a little tricky but with patience they always went in) Have lubed them with the 20wt gold but can't for the life of me get them to drive in straight. Obviously not using the specific seal driver tool, but my piece of plastic tubing always used to work!. Loathed to spend £40 on the tool as with that the new 20wt gold and some seals I could of pretty much paid for a full service. Any tips before I admit defeat!

Put the seals in the freezer for a bit. Shrinks them then they pop in easily. Works for Rockshox at least!
