I was chatting to one of the organisers at last year's event, and he said that numbers were way down for the 2024 event.
He said that if there weren't more entries in 2025, then the end may be nigh.
If you haven't done it before, and want to give it a go, now is the time!

Only done it once as part of a quad, and honestly, really enjoyed it. Am seriously considering a solo attempt for 2025. Sounds fine when you think about it in June, sure it will be less so in January!
It's also the National 24hr championship again next year (for solos)
Nothing different to normal, but if you win you are national champ.
I'll be back I reckon - had to take this year off due to injury but I'm keen for another go.
I'd rather eat my own arse but it'd be a real shame if it weren't to continue, nothing else really like it.

Having made a horses arse of it last year I'm back for another crack at solo again. Maybe I'll get to use my ice tyres this time.

Definitely . But only one bike/battery per team and no recharging allowed.
Looking at the numbers from 24 compared to 23 and 19 solo numbers are up in 24, but teams down. Similar to 23 but way down on 19. I reckon thats the ebike effect as team members drop out so people move to pairs or solo.
