Straightening Carbon XTR Lever Blades?

I had a little OTB last night and managed to bend my RH lever blade.  I believe it's carbon composite construction so I thought it would just break in such a situation but it's definitely bent.
Has anyone had any success in trying to straighten a lever? I've got a couple of spares as I replaced the levers recently but they're the old model so not guaranteed to fit so I'd like to give straightening it out.

In the oven in a G-cramp?

Cheers

G

PS - Will I die? lol

There's not a chance I'd be trying to straighten it.  If it's bent, fibres will have broken and it'll be weakened.  Do you really want to be going downhill fast, hitting the brakes and the lever snaps?  New levers are what £20?

Yes, there is a genuine chance you will die.

Double that = hence the interest in remediation rather than replacement. ;o)

Still cheaper than dental work.
