Hi all,

Just had my bike stolen off the back of the car on Denmark Road in Norton/Gleadless about an hour ago. If anyone happens to see it I'd appreciate a heads up so I can let the Police know:

Orange 5 (2008) frame in orange, serial no: NH894507
White RockShox Sektor forks
XT Chainset
XT Mechs
XT Brakes, 180/180
Hope Pro II hubs
Mavic XC717 rims in black
Silver Thompson seatpost
Sunline V1 bar in silver
Black Charge Spoon saddle
Silver Salsa QR seat clamp
Silver Shimano SPD clip pedals

Personalised topcap: orange coloured metal one with "Happy 40th Kingo" written on it.

Swingarms got a couple of stickers on it; a Hope flag, Live Simply and a Giro emblem. Top tubes got a Squirt lube's sticker on it.

Don't think so, I was picking a mate up at his place and as I arrived there were some lads/kids on the road. Suspect they waited until I'd gone into my mates house (was a while as I was early and sat in the car using my phone for about 10 mins) and had off with it from the locked bike rack.

Looks like they prised the clamp that goes on the top tube enough to get the frame free, damn thing was locked too.

Thanks. Think it was nicked for fun by a local teen/kid rather than someone that'll actually use it but you never know.

I'm not far away in Meersbrook so I'll keep my eyes open too.

I suspect it's now further up Gleadless Road being ragged around the estates and woods up there. I just hope the people riding it appreciate a good bike when they ride one!
