[Closed] Stickers on a 'home made' bike?

If you were making a bike from scratch, what would you do - stickerwise?

Initial thought is just just get something done with my daughter's name on/initial for headtube badge or try and come up with a 'brand name/logo'?
It's only going to be a one off..
Thoughts?

Call it the #insert daughters name here# HM01*.

*HM stands for home made.

LOL - Create your own brand "one-off" if you're having stickers made up and daughters name. Given the time you're taking though why not get a custom paint job and have it painted on??

Had thought of that but don't think the budget will allow ๐Ÿ™

Shame but something like this

but I still think you should create your own brand "one-off" or something... ๐Ÿ˜€

Personally I would have no stickers on it. I take as many off my bikes and components as I can - they look tacky and nasty. Maybe a nicely signwritten name on the top tube

I got some flowery ones off eBay.
These were replaced by random bike mag freebies rockshox hope bell etc when passed on to younger brother. Bike now in hands of a friend's son and left bare- looks best that way

Never mind stickers- you need to CNC some awesome headbadge for it!
Could even get that anodized.

No stickers. Just a custom head badge. No need to CNC it.

Headtube badge is a definite, may see if I can knock one up on the mill.
Just think it might look a little boring with nothing on it and, being a girl, she likes pink and purple and though I could add that with some stickers.

Have messaged Fat Creations but don't think it would be viable.. ๐Ÿ˜•

Yep .. I'd go sticker-less on my own bike if I could be bothered but it's different for a kids bike IMHO and a bit of blingy stickers seem a small thing to us but might be huge to them.

I don't like bare frames so any custom frame I've had I've added a little colour and/or variety by adding a logo or something. gil@thecycleshed.co.uk can whip something up for you.

How about getting the lugs anodized? Or just go with some purple anodized finishing kit, like the Orange Clockwork Hope. I'd be tempted to add some subtle purple decals too in that case- maybe a small logo on the fork and frame.

I also think stickers are rubbish and remove them all - how about a wacky custom paint job instead? You could get a base colour and then add flashes, stripes, zig-zags - whatever - of contrasting colours? Having an individual stand out bike might be more special than stickers too...it needn't be too expensive either with some proper masking.

I quite like stickers on a custom build. Shame this got nicked.
