my hope quick release was turning when i removed it from the bike to put it in the car last night, but after 20 minues in the car the rod of the quick release is now firmly stuck fast. Anone else suffered this? hope hub too.

is it the lever or the spindle that's stuck?
if the spindle; is it bent a bit? could have happened while the wheel was on its side

It's the spindle. The lever came off when I tried undoing it. Should I tap it out gently or is there a trick?
