is the Ragley Piglet the only steel frame that will take a 30.9 dropper seatpost on the market?

Best option is to Bin the Joplin (or flog it if you're not that profligate) and buy a Gravity dropper, KS or X fusion jobbie all of which do a 27.2-dia post, then the world is you oyster... well the world of steel bicycle frames.

Old BFe would do it.

cookeaa - agreed. Bit daft to buy a bike based on already having a not very reliable dropper seatpost. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Can you not shim it and buy a 31.6? Could get a new Bfe then!

i have 2 other aluminum 30.1 bikes, hence wanting to keep the seatpost.

the Bfe/shim is a good call.

cheers

Think the Ragley blue pig MK2 should take a 30.9 post?

Don't believe what Whyte say on their website as the 19 Steel is 27.2mm not 30.9mm ๐Ÿ™„
