I know it is a bit sad, but I can't stop thinking about this and hope for some sympathy from the similarly obsessed.

I've got a steel frame with threaded holes in the seatstays for a rack. Should I
a) put a bolt in to stop water entering;
b) leave it so air can circulate;
c) stop worrying as it won't make a bit of difference?

Thanks

Fit a valve that allows air, but not water.

Doesn't everyone do this?
