Silly question maybe, but can Stans No Tubes rims be run with tires and tubes? Dont want to buy new tubeless tires
Yup, no worries at all
cheers Matt
another Stans question...which is the best rim type for general XC riding
cheers
What size tyres do you want to run?
these are for a 29er and I generally like thinner tyres (1.8) but nothing more than a 2.1
Crests or Arch Ex it is then. The former is slightly lighter, the later probably slightly stronger. Both are the same width.
Arch... BUT... If you are buying complete wheels they come tubeless ready, and you can use your old tyres probably, just add a twenty quid bottle of stans.
I still have a couple of sets of stans arch 29ers at £315, down from £425. Nice wheel so and what I use on most of my bikes. Free uk delivery.

Thks for the temptation - thats a good price!
Looking to build these onto a Solaris frame with a traditional 135 QR axle on the rear, I presume these are OK, not familiar with the 3.30 hubs
