[Closed] Standard Disc Mount v 20mm Fork Disc Mount - Difference?

pics are the 20mm one first, with the standard one below, the 20mm one is thicker, when mounted in the form mount, the 20mm ones put the caliper further right (about half the bolt hole width)

will the 20mm one work with any forks with through axles i.e. 15mm/20mm and just not QR forks, the lower one is the normal width of all current mounts,

Depends on the age of the forks. Early 20mm forks needed a large mount, especially Marzocchi, say up until 2006/7?

The skinny mount may be all you need for 15/20mm, and QR.

Not everyone strictly adheres to standards...
