Does anyone use a normal silicone spray on their fork stanchions from the likes of Ambersil, SX Siroflex etc to look after them or is the Fork Juice stuff really worth the cost?

No better than a wipe around with a bit of finish line wet lube IME.

I've use the same can of Fork Juice most weeks for last 2 years and its nowhere near half way empty. I think its very good value.
And its pretty good at getting your shower screen moving over the bath side 🙂

I use 3 in 1 silicone spray. If you want something better, spend real money and get the best. http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/precison-lubricants/1847951/

Aldi sell a can with a years work of silicon oil spray for £1.99 (only one week a year though). Exactly the same stuff as the 3 in 1. Keeps em slippy! I've never used the branded stuff tbh.

I use fork juice and it's great stuff, really sticks to the stantions and no stiction. You only need a little spray so the can will last ages, I've had mine for 2 years and still loads left.
