Are you trying to keep us northerners away, by holding it there?

Maybe on the same weekend us northern types should have a SS only ride out in somewhere handy for us?

Please don't start that again - you could have volunteered to run it, but didn't.

If you've never been, Pippingford is an awesome venue. The views and the trails are ace - the main long DH is more like a trail centre than an XC course - huge berms and very, very fast. Lots of other cool bits too. It's where the Nat Champs were last year - have a hunt for pics on BC and you'll get a good idea.

I'm sure it'll be a great event.

It's the riders that make these things good not the location.

Pippingford was a great place to race, really enjoyed racing there for the Marathon Champs. Looking forward to SSUK!

As stu said, it is the people that make the event what it is.

Blackhound got over-excited and got his months muddled ๐Ÿ˜† The thread title said "February" before the mods corrected it to September 8)

I didn't make a grand announcement as we don't have entries or the fancy website sorted yet but thanks for posting it up Blackhound. It's definitely in September!

Somehow, I think the northerners will cope with the beer. They're all poor and like free beer, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

And free beer !!!!! Its getting better all the time, us poor northern whippet herders love free stuff.

300ish for us lot but may be a bit longer as we tend to get lost when we leave the mother land aka North Yarkshire.

122 miles for me. Ride up to Winchester, tootle along the South Downs Way for a bit then freestyle it up to Nutley.

Don't think I'd get a pass even if I went by car though ๐Ÿ™
