I live in York; it would be rude not to.

By the way anyone got a SS / SS frame I can borrow / buy cheap? 18" Inbred or similar would fit.

Juan,

Depending on where you're based (OK France but it's a reasonably big place)get the boat to Hull and someone will pick you up I'm sure (I'd do it if I get the bike and the entry sorted).

Yes Mike but I have no Euro key on my keyboard! And Juan I know a few SS'ers in France and I understand they have a few SS events through the year. Also one to think about is the Euro's this year in Dresden Germany and same weekend as SSUK, saves the boat/air fare 🙂

Riofer - Thanks for the offer and I'll bear it in mind. I think for preference I'm looking for a disc brake frame though (and I'm assuming the frame is the one you mentioned in a previous post) 'cos although a V-brake itself is relatively cheap I'd have to source a new rear wheel as well.

That said any idea of the seat post diameter and what length fork it would take (I've only got 130mm+ or museum piece Pace 80/100mm around at the moment) - it just gives me an idea of what it all mounts up to.

Or in other words I could order a new Inbred plus a single sproket, spacers and chain tug and then use all the bits off my 456 'cos they're the same size. If I start needing V-brake, wheel with braking rim, new seat post etc it can start adding up quickly.

Drop me the details if you want to iain(dot)miller(at)ce-electricuk(dot)com.

igm - It would take your Pace forks, but probably not your seatpost (I think it takes a 27mm). So a new wheel and seatpost would be required as a minimum. Let me know if you want some pictures.

Yes, been two years with out going due to a shattered ankle and weddings. So 2009 will be my trumphant return. I can't wait. My mates are all being a big bumch of gimps about whether their GFs/wives will let them so I may be coming on my own as there is now way I am going to miss it.

Anyone else coming from Cambridge/Norfolk?
