If you need to, you can get a train from Bristol to York, then change to one for Malton. Just ten (or less?) miles to the site then.

Getting there is not too bad, but looking at £100+ for a single on the way back for decent times that don't involove lots of stops (and that's just getting back from York!) 🙁
