I have just spotted that number 98 for SSUK is Neil Ruddock. Will it be Neil "Razor" Ruddock the ex spurs, West Ham, Liverpool player and all round fat bloke?

Aaaaaah.. gotcha... and yes, that is me just behind you, but it took me a while to work out what the hell I was wearing as I don't have any red tops with white cuffs... then I remembered it was the bandage I had on after my slight Dyfi excursion...

And this is really spooky, but that pic shows my race number as 37 back in '06 and I've just checked, I'm number 37 again on the '09 list on the website...

I'm kinda freaked out by that... especially as that's how old I am...

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [i]

Funky Nick I was number 99 in 06 and I am number 33 this time... will I be number 11 next year? and number 3.666 the year after?

Ok, fellow Billy No Matesees,

I'm hopefully going to be arriving on site fairly early on the Saturday. (Not sure exactly when, as I'm riding over so it'll be whenever I get there.)

If you want to join the Lonely Hearts Club, look out for a skinny guy with a beard, short hair and glasses riding an Inbred. I'm sure there won't be anyone else looking like that there ๐Ÿ™‚

I will have whisky, so will be worth finding ๐Ÿ˜‰

Mike,
We'll be there earlyish as well as we will want to get away from our Friday night Campsite and get on site and get set up early. I'm the 6'3 skin head with a beard and a white Surly 1x1. Although I'm not sure I will qualify foir the lonely hearts club as I will be with two others and a third arriving later that day.
Is it wrong that I am so excited about SSUK?

I'm going to be at Hagg Farm on the Friday night* now, in martinh's pod, so should be there on time.

* assuming I don't get lost on the way over the Moors, in which case I'll be sleeping rough somewhere and then continuing the journey on Saturday morning ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't worry, I'm shopping for SSUK tonight... I assume the pods are easy to find on the farm?

Yay, I get to meet the pink Solitude in the flesh!

Can we take a photo of it mounting my Mundo, just to see how many heads we can make explode on here?

What Booze?

Becks Vier and Aberlour. That's what I'm bringing anyway.

(I bought my food and drink last night; it's worryingly heavy. At least my bike will be lighter riding home.)

sorry going way OT but back to the beer fried bacon Tommid
What sort of beer?
And how? Add a splash of beer when bacon is done? Marinate bacon in beer first? Broil(?) bacon in beer? I'd guess the first one.

No need to apologise for being OT when it's OT about beer and bacon!
