Which is the best single speed chain for MTB?
KMC Z610.
I'm fairly hard on the kit and I haven't broken one yet and they seem to last well.
got m ine from ctbm
about £14 inc post lasts ages, can't remember the name though but just trawl his webby for the one he rec ommends as good for that price...

KHE Tanga light. Great lightweight bmx chain that's bombproof.
Anything but PC-1 I would say, bought a 3 pack on offer from somewhere and all of them failed within 3 months.
Now use a bog standard Shimano 8 speed one and no problems.
KMC kool chain from Velo Solo available in 1/8th or 3/32
On my singles on current running KMCs in rainbow and white, never had any issues with either but had problems with std chains and PC1 before. Also bought from Charlie
Bog standard KMC 10 speed, no problems whatsoever 12 hour races etc.
