I'm looking to change the x sync single ring on my bike for a smaller one, and think the sram ones are a bit pricey to say the least. Anyone used a different brand that works well and doesn't cost a day's wages?
Got Absolute Black Oval on 2 bikes, fits 11 speed Sram GX crank.
Not cheap, but they seem to last very well. Round versions available too of course if you dont fancy an oval.

Not SRAM but been running both RaceFace Cinch and 104 bolt pattern on my bikes and seem OK (10/11/12 speed)

Look for steel SRAM ones, pence.

Steel x sync chainrings are cheap as chips as mentioned above. Usually sub £20.
Of the after market jobs Superstar often seem to be one of the cheapest branded rings. There are the eBay jobs that might be ok - some people on here have said the ‘Snail’ branded ones are ok. Would rather use the genuine Sram ones though for £20.
Eagle bcd is 104 as far as I can tell so no good
If it's SRAM Apex1 then there aren't many options for replacement chain rings. Absolute Black do one, superstar told me they don't due to the asymmetric bolt placement

Unite chainrings seem to be good for me so far.
+1 for Unite (oval in my case) as an alternative to the SRAM ones.

It was for a sram s350 chainset that I was looking at. Eventually went for a superstar one. Needed a spacer but seems OK apart from that
I'm needing a direct mount 32t probably boost ring, more than happy with steel - would prefer SRAM as 20 quid sounds great...how do I know it is steel? Or is it just the price that separates them?
If it’s anywhere near £20 it’ll be a steel one. The alloy ones are £50 or £60 I think.
