Where can you buy aftermarket rings for a SRAM x7 2x10 chain set? I've got a chain set with 26-39 but want to swap for a 24-38 on my 29er. But they are odd sized BCD and from what I've read the outer is threaded so the chainring bolt threads into it instead of the spider. Can't find anyone among the usual suspects who seems to make or stock them, so do I have to go into a SRAM dealer and pay full whack for them?
Hi, I have a similar problem with SRAM XX cranks with a BCD of 120. I have looked all over the net with little luck and on the off chance emailed Matt at Middleburn who wrote back and said:
At the moment we don’t do the rings but we will be making some in the next couple of weeks.
I expect them to be available before the end of the month.
We will be doing the 120 BCD 39t and the inner 26t 80 BCD.

North Shore Billet do a replacement spider with a standard BCD, which then opens up the standard range of chain rings. They definitely do an XO and X9 so one if them may compatible with your X7. About 50 quid delivered.
