Hey all you SRAM users, if you have separate brake levers then where do you put your shifters - inboard or outboard of the brake lever clamp? I can't seem to find a good position for my X1 shifter. Can you rotate the angle of the dangle somehow?

Shifter outboard of brakes.

Don't know about the X1 shifter but with the XX1/X01 version you can adjust the angle of the larger lever using the bolt underneath:

Hmmm if I put the shifter outboard it seems to come too interfere with my hand position on my grips. Last time I used trigger shifters was oooo back in the 90's - since then I've been on either gripshift or shimano thumbies on Pauls mounts.

How far inboard are your brakes - can you move them in further? Mine are such that there is still about an inch between the end of the grip and the shifter clamp..

Brake clamp is an inch from the start of the grip which feels about right, quite short levers (shimano XTR trail).
Maybe I just need to fettle a bit more, might try it inboard of the brake lever just to see.
