Just looking at the SRAM GX shifters and trying to work out if I need to order a separate bar clamp to mount it?
I will be running some FSA brakes I have so assume I can't use an integrated solution clamp thingy?
What do I need to order to just mount the shifter around the bar like in the good old simple days, feeling old and confused.
I bought a GX shifter and it came with a bar clamp. I think you can match it up with brakes etc, but it's fine to mount on its own.
Yep, just bolt it straight on. The brakes won't be compatible with the shifter for an integrated mount, but the shifter will come with normal clamps.
Ahh I see so it comes with a standard bar mount, that's great thanks. You would think it would be a good idea to show a mount in the adverts.
