I have a Sram Rival 1 type 2.1 long cage rear mech, running 1x11 drivetrain with Shimano 11-42 cassette.
Does anyone know if the mech will handle an 11-46 cassette? (Sram spec says 10-42).
Hopefully someone has tried it in real life and can say yay/nay before I try, and win, or fail.

I used a Linderets Road Link to use an up to 32 teeth Sram Mech on a 36 cassette with no problem so I imagine it would extend a 42 capacity to 46. It says in their website that Sram is not supported but it works fine

There's a lot of travel in the B screw, so it might go straight on.

Hmmm... I'll look into that.

SRAM mechs only seem to go up to 42T.
Shimano ones seem to handle 46 though.

Damn you Sram! ๐Ÿ˜ก
