Hi,
Im changing my bike over to GX eagle. I have ordered a DUB fitment Bottom Bracket to go with the crankset. when I go to push the bottom bracket on with my hands it goes tight.
Looking at the spindle there are two raised portions at either end. Should the bearing slide over these freely, or is this an occasion for a bit of gentle persuasion with mr Thumpy?

Do you mean the little plastic sleeves that sit inside the BB shell in contact with the axle, or something else?
The only warning I'd give from my limited experience is that if you pop these out pushing the axle through, be careful putting them back in, as they are very fragile...
