Brakes get knocked but theres no impact damage to the rest of the lever. This *looks* like a bad casting to me? Less than a year old - worth trying to warranty?

How did it happen? Were you just riding along? Defo warranty.

Define “knocked”
If you crashed into something soft like a grassy bank this could happen I suppose. Was it a hard impact?
Were they tightened to the correct torque? Could over tightening have contributed to this?
If there’s no obvious other level damage it’s worth a shot.

SRAM have always been helpful with me. Think you go through your LBS or the place you bought it from.
