thinking about spending some christmas money from parents on an x7 26 39 to pair with a 11-34 9 spd on the rear. I am assuming a 9spd chain will work fine and also that the x7 has a narrow q facter than an slx tripple. Don't see the need to go 10 spd on the back as rest of teh drive train is fine.
so will it run ok
is it a narrower q factor and a better chainline than using a tripple with 2 rings?
