I have old MTB drive train and flat bars on my cross bike.
it's Sram x9 rear mech from 2014 I believe.
If I got a Sram rival right hand 10 shifter would it work with the Sram x9.

Yes, SRAM 10-speed MTB and road had the same pull ratios.
