[#4747660]

So as per the title my BB7s squeek like a bitch.
Not under braking, but on rotation. I have cleaned the disc and pads and no joy. I have run some wet and dry over both the disc and pads, still no joy.
The front has had new pads for two weeks, squeeked before and after pad replacment, the rears are worn with plenty of life.
Your suggestions please.

Happened to me and the piston had become detached from the adjuster and was just able to move freely to cause the pad to rub on the disc . I could stop it happening while riding along by very slightly applying the brake .

Erm.... if the brakes are squeaking while riding the pads must be contacting the discs. Are they?

It's easy to fit new pads and not realise that they haven't clicked fully home and are in fact oblique in the calipers. They need pushing in firmly until they click into place. Guess how I know this?
