Currently have a 2.45" stroke length x 400lb spring on my vanilla rear shock
(it is a 200 x 50mm stroke shock)
will i be ok to fit a spring of 2.39" stroke length?

As long as the spring stroke length is greater than the shock stroke and the free length of the spring less than the max free length of the shock then you shouldn't have any problems
