(did anyone understand why Patrick Kielty sobbed for hours / himself to sleep on the first night & continued to cry most every time the camera cut to him, even after just 1.20 on the bike? Did he have something of a drink problem too?)

TBF it was a reasonably tough challenge. I wouldn't have fancied being on skiny tyres in some of that snow.
Top effort from Davina Mccall going out there even when the pacemaker bottled it!

not sure if 'bottled it' is the right phrase after riding at 30% effort in -10 to -15 for 5 and a half hours.
