Can anyone tell me what length spokes I need for the above or point me in the direction of a decent calculator? It will be 36h and I'm planning on getting DT Swiss Revolutions.

Thanks in Advance!

FH

Google "spocalc" then download it.

Most reliable calculator IMO.

Might need to get the Pro2 hub dims off Hope though as im not sure they're in spocalc as standard.

Cheers guys but I've confused myself!

Using the following:
Left Hub Flange Diameter - 56mm
Right Hub Flange Diameter - 54mm

Left Flange Distance - 31.5mm
Right Flange Distance - 20.5mm

ERD - 541mm

I get 258mm from w.wheelpro.co.uk/spokecalc/

but:

267 left and 270 right (!) by using the spocalc spreadsheet: http://sheldonbrown.com/rinard/spocalc.htm

Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?!

You've probably got the number of times of crossing wrong. Set it a 3x.

262 would be likely for 32 hole, probably a bit shorter as it's 36 hole he has. If I was at home, I'd work it out for you, but I'm on my iPhone at my dads sadly...

Im not too sure myself, but searched around on google and many people have said 262mm will work for both left and right flange on a rear pro 2 with a 717 rim! All seems very confusing. haha

Cheers mboy wheelpro gives me 262 for a 32 h . As you say it a 36h I've got so I'm guessing 258 is correct.

Not sure what I'm doing with spocalc though. I have it set to 3x ๐Ÿ˜•

Dunno, you got the number of spokes set correctly too?

Double check all the hub and rim dims you've entered too...

Found another calculator; http://lenni.info/edd/

Which gives 258 too.

Think I'll go for that and assume I'm doing something special with spocalc!

Thanks for your help guys. ๐Ÿ˜†
