Reason I'm asking is, It's got new owners. A young couple who I know quite well. (mates of my son) & I'd love to pass on any advice that'll help their venture.

Was expensive last time I went in so have previously avoided. Also not used them for servicing, but I've been dicking about with these oversized childrens toys since 1989.
Keep a stock of 10/11 speed chains and cassettes, XT BB's and usual suspect disc pads cheap.
Price match, or at least get close so I don't have to go to Evans at the Metro Centre. I work just round the corner so easy enough to get there at lunchtime instead.
Probably worth trying to get a few flyers into GSK round the corner - their cyclescheme goes up to £3.5k plus lots of folk too busy to do own maintenance.
Sell / give away local route maps as per Dales Bike Centre. Promote local shop rides on / off road.
