Ok so yesterday I weighed my spicy 516 in at 33lb 3oz just before I tried tubeless to start I had fat Alberts 2.4 t/l Evo snakeskin with schwalbe tubes. then went to high rollers lust 2.35 although they come up alot smaller than the Alberts so off I start gorilla tape the rims insert valve inflate straight away with a track pump add sealant then shake done two rotations and the soap and water to check for leaks to my amazement both wheels done no leaks. Then I decided to weigh the bike again 31lb 6oz impressed to say the least even checked again this morning both tyres at 30 psi just as I left them ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't know about the weight but I've gone ghetto tubeless with a BMX inner tube, a fair old bit of sealant and some single ply Maxxis Minions (2.5 and 2.35) and it's great. I've got more grip, less rolling resistance and no punctures. Win, win

I recently went tubeless with Roval Control wheels.Even allowing for the fact that I was running lightish 120g tubes,it was still worth doing.2 x 120g=240g v 120g of Stans sealant.Tubeless rim strips were already installed on the rims so no weight added there.
