I've had about 5 months off my bikes due to illness. Started training again and, while my fitness is not as bad as I feared, I've experienced speed wobble on the same hill on three different bikes - all of which I've owned and ridden down the same hill many times before with no issue. I know what you're supposed to do to stop it but it's a scary experience nevertheless.
I guess it's down to being tense

Only time I had a speed wobble on a road bike was when I had a near death experience avoiding a truck on my side of the road 8O. Relaxed, gripped the bike with my legs and it sorted itself out. The wobble startef as I tensed so could be what's happening to you. Very scary when it happend !!!!
