t'missus has decided this might be the bike - looking at the elite with hydro discs.
Anyone got one and is it any good? Seems reasonably light and decent componsts for £650 - sram 27 spd and so on.
Can we put a 110mm fork on it ok - we have a spare one that is better than the forks on it.
Tektro hydro discs - any issues?

I've just this week built one for a customer. They look really good, this years specialized women's bikes have far better graphics than the men's ones IMO. It has decent components except the fork, which as you say is a bit of a weak point especially at 80mm travel. So your plan sounds like a good one, 110mm fork with sag set right and you'll be onto a winner.
